About Us
We are the Perry RAMBOTS, FRC Team 6548. Our team was established in 2017, and have since qualified and attended the World competition 4 times. Our rookie team consisted of 8 members, one coach and a couple of mentors, attending the World competition in St. Louis Missouri. We have since grown to be a team with 21 7th - 12th graders who work dilligently as a team and with the community. We support the enviroment by recycling pop cans and returning scrap metal all to raise funds for our travel and robot expenses. Though we raise a lot of funds through fundraising we are lucky to be in a community that supports our dreams every year and we are ever grateful for each and every one of our business and individual sponsors. Our community outreach consists of free movie nights in our High School auditorium, bottle drives, family fun festivals, volunteering at the local VFW hall and inviting other local team to workshops and events.
History
Since 2017, we have been working hard to build robots and compete in competitions. We qualified for the World Championship our rookie year, and more recently last year in 2025. We plan on attending again this year for our fourth time. Over the years, our team has consistently grown in both size and skill, developing strong capabilities in design, programming, and manufacturing.
Competing in the FIRST in Michigan district, we regularly participate in district events and the Michigan State Championship, earning multiple awards along the way, including honors such as the Team Sustainability Award, Judges’ Award, and Autonomous Award. Our continued success is driven not only by our performance on the field, but also by our commitment to outreach, teamwork, and mentoring the next generation of students.
As the Perry RAMBOTS, we strive to improve each season, pushing our limits while representing our school and community with pride.
